Creative agency Mint Advertising has hired digital veteran Sean Black as vice president, head of media and digital strategy.
Black comes to Mint with over 16 years of digital marketing
experience. In 1998 he founded and built out Grey E Media as the first digital practice for Grey Direct. Grey E Media later merged with Beyond Interactive to launch Beyond Entertainment, a leader in
youth and entertainment marketing with such clients as Warner Brothers Theatrical, Hasbro, and H&M.
In 2006 Black founded JL360, a New Jersey-based digital agency where he
ran digital strategy and activation for such national clients as Colgate, Home Depot, and DeLonghi, as well as local brands including Massage Envy and Hollywood Tans. Black most recently comes from
WPP's Group M agency MediaCom where he oversaw all digital marketing for Subway Restaurants.
Of hiring Black, Mint co-founder and CEO Eric W. Schoenfeld said: “Augmenting our
digital marketing offering with a leader in the field is a critical next step in helping our current clients grow -- as well as in positioning Mint as an attractive agency partner for prospective
clients. We’re thrilled to have Sean join the team.”
