Atrion Corporation Names Tom Abato Vice PresidentFlemington, NJ, Jun 20, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Atrion Corporation, an IT solutions and professional services provider, has announced the appointment of Tom Abato to the position of vice president sales, enterprise software & consulting, effective immediately. In his new role, Abato will focus on developing key strategies to grow Atrion's software and infrastructure sales as well as their professional services consulting practice, expanding the firm's position as an experienced and trusted provider for IT business solutions. His primary areas of focus will include business continuity, virtualization, and security and cloud environment provisioning solutions. "By aligning tightly to current sales and service delivery organizations, Tom's team will enhance our software sales and delivery expertise. Prior to joining Atrion, Abato previously served as a consulting sales manager at Oracle, where he was responsible for consulting services, sales and delivery for Oracle's top tier enterprise accounts. As director of software alliances for Agilysys, he was responsible for U.S. sales revenue for enterprise software, services delivery, corporate software sales strategy, product selection and field sales enablement. Abato also spent over 12 years at Sun Microsystems in various sales management positions and was responsible for annual software revenues and maintaining both distribution and reseller/integrator relationships across the U.S. "It's a great honor to be appointed vice president," said Abato.
