Kelly Clarkson wows while performing Heartbeat Song at iHeartRadio Music Awards... and shares cute snap of new daughter River Rose
Kelly Clarkson was feeling the love at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday.
The 32-year-old wowed in a royal blue lace mini dress while performing her latest single Heartbeat Song against a heart-shaped display of lights in Los Angeles.
But just before the show, the new mother attempted to slumber beside her baby daughter River Rose, and took to Instagram to share the moment.

'Trying to take a nap before the IHeart Radio Awards ....haha didn't work,' the Miss Independent singer's caption read.
The photo captured Kelly wrapped up in a plush blue blanket while her nine-month-old placed her hand over her mother's sleepy eyes.
Kelly's husband Brandon Blackstock cuddled against his wife while reaching his hand towards his playful daughter.

The new mother appeared rested and reinvigorated once her performance began.
Kelly looked fantastic while taking centre stage with her blonde hair worn down in glossy curls, while a flawlessly applied coat of make-up highlighted her natural radiance.
Her performance was complete with three back-up dancers that rounded off the vocals, two guitarists, and a drummer.

A vibrant lights display accompanied the pop-rock song, adding a visual touch to the powerful performance.
Kelly recently revealed she recorded the track while pregnant with her first child.
'I mean, when we recorded it she was in my tummy,' she told CBS. 'I thought she was gonna come out, like, telling me to shut up. ... 'Cause it had to have been loud!'

Kelly married Brandon in 2013 and also became stepmother to his two children; Savannah and Seth from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth White.
Even with a baby at home, there's no slowing down for Kelly, who debuted her sixth studio album Piece By Piece in February.
The songbird will also kick off a tour later this year.
