Allstate Corp. (ALL) reported second quarter EPS of $1.39 after the close Wednesday, up from $0.92 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.70.
Allstate gapped open higher Thursday and has spiked to the upside in early trade. The stock is currently up 2.58 at $59.47 and is now challenging the highs of the year.
