Kane BlueRiver's Hulk has smashes, HoneyBee's D'Vorah has... bees and Team EG has it out for each other in these Toryuken 4 highlights

Toronto's 4th Toryuken has officially ended, but we're reliving some of the more intense moment's from this weekend's tournament in our highlight recap. We've grabbed a few moments from Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat X and, of course, Ultra Street Fighter 4.

UMVC3

Our first highlight comes from the Winners Finals match between EG|Justin Wong and BE|Kane BlueRiver. Match one, round one, right out of the gate KBR's Hulk sets the pace by smacking Justin's Akuma assist with a KO in the first 4 seconds of the round.

Unfortunately for KBR, he would later find himself having to play in the losers bracket against CTRL|RayRay. In a dire situation with only Haggar left to try to take on RayRay's Magneto-led team, KBR makes an amazing play. Surrounded by the chaos of assist missiles, drones, lasers and Magneto, Kane BlueRiver spots an opportune time to simply go for a level 3 super. Situation dealt with.

Mortal Kombat X

Late in the tournament, REO finds himself dealing with GGA|Jeremiah's Cassie Cage. After multiple comebacks and clutch plays by Jeremiah, REO decided he'd had enough. REO turns it on and simply goes berserk on his opponent. Blow after crushing blow finds their mark as Kung Jin takes the round with a Flawless Victory.

You may have noticed the special thumbnail for RM|HoneyBee's D'Vorah mirror match finale against GGA|Pimpimjim. Honeybee showed a comfortable sense of command in this set. In the final round, he whittled away Pimpimjim's health without using any of his meter, then when he felt the time was right, he unleashed the bees, (D'Vorah's X-ray) which caught his opponent and won him tournament.

Ultra Street Fighter 4

EG K-Brad and Justin Wong would end up meeting twice in the USF4 tournament. In their first meeting, Justin's Rufus would prove difficult to handle. Even when K-Brad has his foe on the ropes, the Wong factor would kick in and see Justin through to victory. In the first gif, on the verge of losing, Justin somehow catches K-Brad with a light Messiah Kick. One mix up later, it's curtains.

The final gif takes us to the second meeting between the EG brothers. This time, K-Brad's rush down would actually carry him through to the end of the round. Unrelenting offense characterized K-Brad's performance in this set, as you can see in the highlight below. It's perhaps the walking counter hit stand fierce that best displays just how in the zone K-Brad is here.
