MCDONALD, Ohio (WYTV) – Western Reserve jumped out to a 9-1 lead after the third inning en route to an 11-6 win over McDonald. John Clegg finished 3 for 4 with a homerun while driving in three runs. The Devils belted out 14 base hits while reaching base four times on walks. Wyatt Larimer, Walker Marlowe, Drew Slaven and Jeep DiCioccio all scored two runs apiece.

Lance Dezee picked up his first win of the year on the mound (1-0), as he struck out 5 in six innings of work.

For McDonald, Garrett Mulrooney was a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate while Cameron Ifft went 2 for 4 for two runs scored. The Blue Devils finished with 15 hits on 34 at bats.

Western Reserve increased their winning percentage to 84.6% (11-2) overall and to 5-1 in the league.
