January 2015 U.S. Offshore Online Poker Payment Processing Report

Maying a paymentThe holiday season has passed.  That time of the year is generally the slowest for online poker and payment processing.  Payments often slow during the last week of December and first week of January due to employee holidays.  This presents a backlog of payout requests when employees return for the new year.  That backlog has been resolved for the few sites that experienced them.

Our December processing report may be found here.  Last month’s grades are in parenthesis.

Bovada A+ (A+)

Bovada, the largest U.S.-facing online poker site, continues its dominance in terms of both traffic and cashout speeds.  Players may receive withdrawals by check, bank wire, cash transfer, and credit card.  Players may receive a free withdrawal each month through any method besides cash transfer.

Checks are processed in 3-7 days.  The maximum check amount is $3,000.  Additional checks beyond the complimentary monthly withdrawal carry a fee of $50.

Players can withdraw via any Visa card.  These are received in 4-6 days.  The fee is $50 for this transaction after a free withdrawal has been processed in a month.

We were unable to locate any bank wire withdrawal requests this month.  We have no reason to believe the speed has changed from last month’s time of less than one week.

Bovada cash transfers are processed in 1-2 days.  The fees are as follows:

The Winning Poker Network offers a debit card.  It can be used as an ATM card at most machines.  It costs $25 to receive the card.  There are also fees for each withdrawal request and ATM transaction.  There is a $5 monthly maintenance fee to keep the card active.  Players may request one withdrawal through this method each week.  The maximum weekly withdrawal is $2,500.  These are processed in about one week.

Bitcoin withdrawals were recently introduced.  These cashouts are processed in many cases in just a matter of minutes.  Players should be aware of the price fluctuations related to Bitcoin.

Intertops B+ (B+)

Intertops is the best option for players on the Revolution Gaming Network.  Its cashout speeds are incredible.  It only receives a B+ due to its fees and lack of a free withdrawal option.

Players receive checks in amounts up to $3,000 for a fee of $50.  Bank wires are available in amounts up to $2,500.  These take 2-3 weeks to arrive and also carry a $50 fee.  For $9, players can receive a withdrawal directly to a credit card.  These take one week or less.

The Merge Gaming cashier services players from Carbon Poker, PlayersOnly, Sportsbook.ag, and SuperBook.  All players have checks available as a withdrawal option.  These arrive in about three weeks.  Players may receive one free withdrawal per year.  Additional ones carry a 3% fee.  Some high volume players will find cash transfers available in their cashier.  Limits and fees will vary.

SealswithClubs B- (B)

SealswithClubs is a standalone Bitcoin-only site.  Cashout speeds are less than 12 hours.  The grade was only lowered over the previous month due to the high volatility of Bitcoin prices at this time.  Players that are willing to take that risk will want to check the site out.

Juicy Stakes C (B-)

Juicy Stakes is a member of the Revolution Gaming Network.  It shares many exclusive tables with Intertops.  Players receive one withdrawal per week by Western Union or check.  These are processed in less than one week.  The fee is $100.  Players can receive a discount of $50 when giving substantial action.  Some players report a mandatory 2,500 weekly FPP requirement to receive withdrawals.

Lock Poker F- (F-)

Lock Poker is an absolute scam.  There is no other way to describe it.  Check out our previous reports as to why.  Lock Poker is a deposit-only site.  Cash goes in, but it never goes out.  It is the “Roach Motel” of online poker.

If you have money stuck there, you will never see it again.  Try one of the other sites listed above if you want to get paid online poker winnings.
