Xbox One users can now order pizza directly from their console using the new Domino's app.

Confirming earlier reports, the Domino's Pizza app lets UK users place an order while playing games or watching television.

The app features voice and gesture controls, as well as real-time tracking, displaying the pizza's journey on the side of the screen.

The app launches with a special 'GameFuel Big Night In Deal', giving Xbox One users a large pizza, sides, doughnuts and a drink for £24.99.

Domino's Pizza marketing director Simon Wallis described it as the ultimate game fuel.

"Xbox One has the best platform for us to build on" he continued. "We're proud to be able to allow people to purchase a physical product via their Xbox console.

It marks the first time UK users are able to order physical products using the console.

A Pizza Hut app is available on Xbox 360 in North America. Responsible for driving $1 million in sales for the food chain, users can customise pizzas using Kinect.
