Carnival, Parade, and Fireworks on Tap for Fourth of July in Stoughton

The fun starts Friday night at 5 p.m.

This weekend, Stoughton will celebrate Independence Day with two days of fun and entertainment.

The holiday celebration starts on Friday, July 3 with fireworks and the carnival at Stoughton High School. The carnival will feature rides, live music, and great food. The event starts at 5 p.m., with fireworks scheduled to go off at 9:30 p.m.

Rides are between $3 and $4 and are cash only. Rides at the carnival include a bounce house, the Chaos Obstacle Course, Tubs of Fun, Sky Fighter, Aztec, a 52-foot swing, fire engine, Peter Paul Dragon, 50-foot fun house, game trailer, and more.

The next morning, the annual Fourth of July parade starts at its brand new time of 10 a.m. Mark Snyder will host the parade which will start at the parade will start at the intersection of Park and Prospect Streets, traveling down Park Street to the center of town, and ending at the intersection of Washington and Central Streets
