KUALA TERENGGANU: Eight thefts are reported in a month at the Kuala Terengganu City Council bus terminal which draws even tourists keen on making purchases from a host of traders operating there, according to the police.
Kuala Terengganu Police chief ACP Idris Abd Rafar said the police would hold a meeting with the traders to decide on the best way to check the crime.
"We understand that two security guards are stationed at the terminal but this is not enough to deter the thieves," he told Bernama.
He said the police had arrested a man believed to one of the thieves and recovered some loot. – Bernama
