CLEVELAND, Ohio -- We took a look inside Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's new Sonic Sessions where they celebrated the kick off party on Friday.

The event is an expansion of Rock Hall's Summer in the City concert series bringing live music to guests all year long. Similar to the Summer series, there will be a lineup of local acts as well as many national touring headliners. Performances will take place at the museum's Klipsch Audio stage and the outdoor stage during warmer months.

Friday's EDM (electronic dance music) theme featured Blackbird, Thunder St. Clair and 41SE7EN. The British duo that make up Lets Be Friends were the headlining performers. Watch the video above to see highlights from the show.

The next Sonic Sessions takes place at 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 with Sinkane. Tickets start at $5.50.
