Traffic stop at Cabela's leads to drug, theft arrests
Benton County Deputies said they arrested three suspects after finding drugs inside a car during a traffic stop at Cabela's at the Promenade. Deputies said they noticed one of the men inside the car had a cut on his hand and glass on his clothing. Deputies said the suspects were also part of three vehicle break-ins that had been reported to the Rogers Police Department - on Belview and at Chuy's. They admitted to police they had been smoking meth in the car. Heathman said he hand was bloody from breaking a car window. Police said they found stolen bags inside  the suspect's vehicle.Officers said Michelle Denise Garner, Jeffrey Don Earl Heathman and Brandon Kerry Hayes were arrested on drug charges. Heathman was later taken to the hospital for his injuries. He was charged with three counts of breaking or entering. Garner and Hayes were also charged with three counts of accomplice to breaking or entering. All three suspects were booked in the Benton County Jail.
