Veteran Broadcast Sales Executive Joins WideOrbit Management Team

Kelly is a highly regarded broadcast technology veteran with more than twenty-five years of experience leading sales efforts in broadcast television, digital media, business music and search marketing. He was most recently Vice President of Sales at LIN Media and at Media General after its acquisition of LIN in 2014.

Kelly has spent his entire career in media sales and operations, starting as a Master Control Operator before rising through the sales ranks to hold senior executive sales roles at broadcasting stations in Florida, Washington and Maryland. As General Sales Manager and an equity partner at a Baltimore broadcaster, he helped manage its growth and subsequent transition after its acquisition by Sinclair Broadcasting, a process featured in a Harvard Business School case study still widely taught in business school classrooms.
