Calgary police officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Bowness Road N.W. just before 10 a.m.
A witness reported seeing a vehicle veer off the road and crash; shortly after the male driver took off on foot.
Upon investigation police discovered the vehicle involved was stolen.
A CPS’ helicopter and canine units helped in the search to locate the suspect but were unable to find him.
He is described as a male in his early 20s, with shoulder length hair and wearing a black leather jacket.
