GO-EDC ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
May 18, 2015 – The Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation (GO-EDC) is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors.
Kristin Fassbinder (Term through 2017)
Ms. Fassbinder has been with Bemis for seven years as a Human Resources Director working for several divisions of Bemis as well as corporate. She is currently the Human Resources Director for the Healthcare Packaging Division of Bemis. Prior to that she spent over 15 years with Oshkosh B’Gosh (Carter’s) predominately in Human Resources for the their retail stores. “I am excited to join the GO-EDC board and be part of an organization that can enable and support the many growth and development opportunities that can be realized in Oshkosh.”
Erik Lampe (Term through 2017)
Mr. Lampe is a leader in Oshkosh Corporation’s corporate business development group and leads Mergers & Acquisitions for the company. Prior to that, Erik was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he focused on growth strategy and operations effectiveness for companies in the industrials and aerospace & defense sectors. Erik has an MBA from Harvard Business School and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. “I am excited to be a part of GO-EDC and for the impact that the organization is primed to deliver. Oshkosh is a community with a lot to offer, and GO-EDC has an opportunity to build on that to shape the Oshkosh economic environment for years to come.”
Jeremy Normington-Slay (Term through 2016)
Mr. Normington-Slay, DPT, MBA, FACHE, is the President at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. Prior to Mercy he served as the Chief Executive Officer for Moundview Memorial Hospital and Clinics in Central Wisconsin. Jeremy and his wife Abigail have five children and moved to the area in the fall of 2014. Jeremy received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Concordia University of Wisconsin. He then returned to Concordia as a non-traditional student to obtain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Jeremy also completed a Master’s in Business Administration from Plymouth State University. He has served or currently serves on the Wisconsin Hospital Association Advocacy Council, the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Task Force on Medicaid Payment Reform, the Board of Directors at the Paine Art Center and Gardens, and was appointed by two Governors to Wisconsin’s Rural Health Development Council. “I am interested in helping to provide the best environment for businesses in the Oshkosh area. GO-EDC is dedicated to this as well and I am pleased to be a part of this initiative.”
Thomas Scharpf (Term through 2016)
Mr. Scharpf is a real estate broker and co-owner of Thomas James Real Estate, LLC which started in 2003. We develop and manage commercial and industrial properties that we personally own. Our company also offers non-residential real estate brokerage services and business brokerage services to Client’s and Customer’s for their properties and businesses. “I am pleased to join the GO-EDC board of directors. I strongly believe that GO-EDC will make a difference in retaining businesses and bringing new businesses to the greater Oshkosh area.”
