Sean Stellato to sign his book 'No Backing Down' at Barnes and Noble

Sean Stellato

Former high football star and current NFL Player Agent Sean Stellato will be appearing at Barnes and Noble in Deptford on Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m. signing his new book, 'No Backing Down.' His client Eagles Bryan Braman will be appearing with him.

The project has been six years in the making about a subject near and dear to Stellato and his former Salem Witch teammates. The story is eloquently retold in his newly released book, No Backing Down, about the Salem 1994 teacher's strike that resulted in head football coach Ken Perrone's decision to defy an order to cease and desist coaching his team. The story gained national attention and featured all the local schools that appeared on Salem's daunting schedule. Despite incredible odds stacked up against it, Stellato and his Salem Witch teammates banded together to take on the school administration, the courts and their often more talented opponents on their way to a high school Super Bowl appearance.

In his book Stellato, a college All-Academic in both football and basketball, talks about the witch trials of 1692 when people falsely accused refused to admit guilt. In many ways Coach Perrone was similarly chastised and accused when he was viewed as a cult leader by the school superintendent.

This is a story rich in history, life lessons, and personal stories from the people involved. It is filled with vivid descriptions of life in Salem 20 years ago. In addition to being the author of 'No Backing Down,' Stellato represents several NFL stars including the New England Patriots Joe Vellano and the Philadelphia Eagles Bryan Braman.
