Ubly's Michela Guza had a perfect game going until the fourth inning, when Taylor Kreger's single broke up the gem.

In the second game, Morgan McCormick drove in Kreger for the first RBI of the day. The Yellowjackets also took a 5-0 lead after Megan Kreger blasted a grand slam, but Ubly stormed back for the win.

SANDUSKY 20-8

MARLETTE 8-3

Katelyn Patterson had two home runs, a double and a single for Sandusky in the opener of the Greater Thumb Conference East Division doubleheader. Brooke Krueger added four doubles, while Taylor Ball had a triple. Caroline Ross had three hits, including a double, and Jenna Franzel and Haley Nelson each had a double.

Emily Cowley was the winning pitcher, striking out seven in six innings.

Patterson added another home run in the nightcap, and also had a double, while Krueger had three hits, Keri Molloy had two, and Nelson had a double. Ross picked up the win.

DECKERVILLE 20-19

PECK 3-13

Bailey Sell (double) and Anna Dhooge each had an RBI for Peck in the opener of the NCTL doubleheader.

Cherokee Johnson had three hits, including two doubles, and three RBI in the nightcap, while Kaylee Ureel had three hits and threeRBI, Dhooge had two hits and two RBI, and Sell had two hits.

Peck (1-4) returns to action Thursday at home against Mayville.

C-PS 9-14

CASEVILLE 8-7

Cindi Alexander had five hits, including two doubles, and an RBI in the opener for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, while Tasha Kandell added two hits, including a double, and two RBI.

Jenna Davis picked up the win, striking out seven.

Alexander added three more hits in the nightcap, as did Kandell, who added a double and two more RBI. Olivia Amey had two hits and an RBI.

Riley Pavel threw a no-hitter in the opener of the GTC East doubleheader, striking out six.

Jaelyn Zschering (two runs, double), Taylor Pitts (two runs, two RBI), Kristie Wheeler (two runs, triple, five RBI), Olivia Liebler (two RBI) and Kelsey Wheeler (RBI) each had two hits for Brown City (8-4), while Skye Willer had two runs and two RBI.

Pitts had three hits, including two triples, and an RBI in the nightcap, while Hannah Long (double, run) and Kory Wells (double, run) each had two hits, and Skye Willer had two RBI and scored a run.
