Trumbull Woman Arrested in Milford Macy's For Shoplifting and Drug Possession

Milford Police said they received a complaint regarding a shoplifting incident at Macy’s, located on Boston Road, on Friday.

Investigation led to the arrest of Alison Dinuzzo, 22, of Trumbull, police said.

She is accused of taking $704 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it, police said.

During Dinuzzo’s arrest, police also found narcotic prescriptions in her possession that weren’t properly stored or prescribed to her, according to the police report.

Dinuzzo is charged with fifth-degree larceny, possession of a controlled substance and narcotic prescription not stored in original container.

She was released under a petition to appear at Milford Superior Court on June 16.
