Gizri residents claimed that the alleged suspects arrested from the area were innocent. To protest the police raid, they took to the streets on Wednesday. Police personnel in plain clothes raided a few homes on Wednesday in Gizri's Bukhsan village and whisked away at least three men. Last Thursday, a senior anti-terror police officer SP Farooq Awan was targeted in Defence. Protesters claimed that at least three teenage boys have been picked up for their alleged connection with the bombing.
