Ross Stores Inc. (ROST) Is Up On Better Than Expected Q4 Earnings

Ross Stores Inc. (ROST) reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.20 after the bell Thursday, compared to $1.02 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $1.11. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $1.21 to $1.26 and between $4.60 and $4.80 for the full year 2015. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.29 and $4.79.

Ross Stores climbed during the second half of the morning Thursday and finished up by 0.59 at $99.05. The stock closed near the upper end of a 1-week trading range at the highs of the year.
