Mumbai, Oct 24 (ANI): Republican Party of India chief Ramdas Athawale, who met Uddhav Thackeray on Friday, said the Shiv Sena is ready to form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for government formation in Maharashtra. Athawale further said that he has requested the Shiv Sena supremo to forget the past and take decisions in favour of the people of Maharashtra. The BJP and Shiv Sena had parted ways ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly polls over seats sharing. The BJP had emerged as the single-largest party in Maharashtra winning 122 of the 288 seats.
