A sessions court on Wednesday found actor Salman Khan, 49, guilty under the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and sentenced him to five years’ imprisonment in a 2002 case.

MUMBAI: A sessions court on Wednesday found actor Salman Khan, 49, guilty under the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and sentenced him to five years’ imprisonment in a 2002 case in which it held that his car rammed a bakery in Bandra, killing one and injuring four while he was driving under the influence of alcohol.

Here is how the Salman reacted during the announcement of verdict in the court:
1.
Salman wore a stoic expression when arguments were on. In the dock, he looked pensive, kept fidgeting and was seen wiping his face several times.
2. The only time he reacted was when his lawyer spoke of his ailments and his sister started crying. He gestured to his sister to stop crying. While waiting for the sentence, his sister ran to him and hugged him.
3. Salman was his normal, smiling self while waiting for word from the HC on his appeal.

4. He greeted the people who went up to chat to him. He even waved to fans who were standing on the ledge of a building opposite the court trying to catch a glimpse of him.

5. When news came of the HC relief, he looked visibly relieved and the family cheered up.
