Macy’s dumped Trump — a presidential candidate only in the sense that Alfred E. Neuman once was — for his hateful delusion that calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” and “killers” (not all of them, mind you) amounts to a bold leadership stand.
The Donald J. Trump Signature Collection of menswear will no longer hang from Macy’s racks — just as the Trump-owned Miss USA Pageant will no longer air on Univision or on NBC, which also yanked him from the “Apprentice” franchise.
All a conspiracy, sneered the mouth attached to the hair, to bring down a once-great America by infection with immigrant hordes. Facing national revulsion, Trump is offensively attempting to prove that he was merely stating a fact about Mexicans.
Wednesday, to CNN’s Don Lemon, Trump perverted a true tragedy of immigration — reports of rapes of women trying to cross the border North.
He shouted: “Well, somebody’s doing the raping, Don! I mean somebody’s doing it! Who’s doing the raping?”
Wrong question. The right ones are:
Who’s risking life and health to come to America? Mexican women. Who’s raping some of them? A limited set of criminals who are exploiting desperation and vulnerability.
Another episode in the worst reality show ever.
