Compuware Corp. (CPWR) Climbed To A 5-Month High After Merger Announcement

Compuware Corp. (CPWR) announced Tuesday morning that it agreed to be acquired by Thoma Bravo in a transaction valued at approximately $2.5 billion.

Compuware gapped open dramatically higher Tuesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 1.24 at $10.59 on the highest volume of the year. Compuware surged to a 5-month high and re-crossed both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
