Kings Island sets job fairs March 23-24

Kings Island is hosting job fairs from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, March 23024, to fill 1,600 seasonal positions open.

The 364-acre amusement park begins its 44th season April 18. New attractions include two new family rides in Plant Snoopy and the largest Starbucks in the region along International Street.

Job opportunities are available for positions in admissions, cash control, entertainment, food and beverage, guest services, human resources, lifeguards, merchandise, rides, safety and security, sweeps and warehouse. Summer internships also are available in marketing, according to a release from the park owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment Co.

Kings Island is hosting a jobs open house this weekend for anyone 15 or older interested in working at the amusement park.

The amusement park is hosting the event for job seekers from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the 364-acre venue in Mason to give applicants the chance to ask questions and gather information about employment opportunities. The park has 1,800 open positions for the 2015 season, which begins April 18.

Admissions, entertainment, concessions, entertainment, games, guest services, lifeguards, rides, merchandise, human resources, marketing, security and warehouse work are among the positions available at Kings Island, which is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Co.

The amusement park is hosting the event for job seekers from 5 to 9 p.m. at the 364-acre venue in Mason to give applicants the chance to ask questions and gather information about employment opportunities. The park needs to fill 3,500 positions for the 2015 season.

Kings Island has canceled its jobs open house set for Saturday at the amusement park.

The cancellation is due to a snowstorm expected to hit the region this weekend.

The jobs open house is rescheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the park.
