Open Text Corp. (OTEX) Is Losing Ground On Weak Q4 Forecast

Open Text Corp. (OTEX) announced after the close Wednesday that its President and CEO Mark J. Barrenechea has resumed full involvement in day-to-day operations of the Company. He announced back in February that he would reduce his involvement in order to seek treatment for Leukemia.

The company also announced that it expects to report fourth quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.64 to $0.72. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.89. The stock is now down 4.93 on 4K shares.

Open Text rose steadily during the first hour of trade Wednesday, before settling into a range. Shares finished up by 0.81 at $49.00.
