Anne Arundel County police said they have arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery in Glen Burnie.Officers were called to the Bay Bank in the 400 block of Crain Highway North for the report of a bank robbery at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.Police said a man came into the bank, implied that he had a weapon and fled with money.Arriving officers and detectives quickly obtained a suspect description and proceeded to canvass the area.Police said officers assigned to the area were familiar with the suspect based on previous contacts with him. Authorities soon noticed the suspect, identified as 55-year-old Randall Patrick Allen, of Glen Burnie, walking in the 7500 block of Ritchie Highway and he was detained, police said.Money taken from the bank was found on Allen, police said. He was arrested and charged with robbery and related offenses.
