Werner Enterprises Wins 2013 NASSTRAC Carrier of the YearApr 04, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Werner Enterprises, a transportation and logistics provider, announced that it has been named the 2013 NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year for the National Truckload category. According to a release, the award, sponsored by NASSTRAC and Logistics Management magazine, recognizes carriers that demonstrate excellence in performance and results. Werner Enterprises was specifically recognized for its exceptional customer service, outstanding business relationships, competitive pricing, operational excellence and leadership in technology. Werner was previously named the NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year for the National Truckload category in 2009, 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Werner received the NASSTRAC Ovation Award. "To be recognized as the NASSTRAC Carrier of the Year is a true testament to the hard work of our professional drivers, maintenance associates and office associates," stated Derek Leathers, president and COO of Werner Enterprises.
