Tani Girton has been hired as the new chief financial officer for Bank of Marin.
Girton has more than 25 years of experience in financial services. Most recently, she was executive vice president and treasurer at Bank of the West. Prior to that, she was vice president of treasury capital markets at Charles Schwab & Co.

Advertising agency Division of Labor in Sausalito won the silver award for the “Small Agency of the Year” from Advertising Age, a magazine for marketing and media communities. Creative directors Paul Hirsch and Josh Denberg were awarded for the company’s outstanding work in advertising.

Gary Lentz has joined Hudson Street Design of Marin, a home design showroom in San Rafael, as a sales manager.
Lentz was most recently principal at his own consulting firm and prior to that he worked at InfoStor in Santa Rosa, a provider of offsite commercial records storage and management.

Martin Kropelnicki has been named president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors for the California Water Service Group effective Sept. 1. Kropelnicki joined the California Water Service Group as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer in 2006.
