ANA Holdings upgrades FY2013 financial forecast

ANA Holdings revised (25-Apr-2014) its full financial year performance forecast for year ended 31-Mar-2014 as follows:

  • Operating revenue: JPY1580 billion (USD15,770 million), +1.3% compared to previous forecast in Oct-2013;
  • Operating profit: JPY65 billion (USD649 million), +8.3%;
  • Net profit: JPY18 billion (USD179.6 million), +20.0%. [more - original PR - English/Japanese]

Commenting on the revision, ANA Holdings said: "Comparing the forecast announced previously, mainly due to International Passenger service categorised in the Air transportation segment, Operating Revenues is expected to increase 21 billion yen and the forecast for the Operating Income is expected to increase 5 billion yen. Recurring Profit is expected to increase 12 billion yen due to the improving of loss on sale and disposal of the aircraft and the aircraft parts. After adjusting the extraordinary loss and tax expense, consolidated net income is to increase to 3 billion yen."
