For 2nd time in 2 weeks, robbery reported at Syracuse bank

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A robbery was reported Wednesday morning at the South Avenue M&T Bank that was robbed last week, 911 reported.

According to the Onondaga County 911 Dispatch Center, Syracuse police responded to a report of a robbery at the bank, located between Eastman and Elmhurst avenues, around 10:30 a.m.

Syracuse police are still searching for a man they say robbed the M&T Bank on South Avenue Monday morning.

In that case, the man entered the bank at 1621 South Ave. around 9:38 a.m., slipped a teller a note demanding money, and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
