Lookout Walmart, Big Lots has introduced a new price-match policy.

The discount retailer’s new Price Promise says if customers find a lower price for an identical item at a local competitor’s store or online, it will match the price.

Items must be in stock to get the guarantee.

The retailer will match online pricing from retail stores that have physical stores in the competing area, so ToysRUs.com Walmart.com and Target.com count.

Show the ad or a photo of the price at the register to get the discount or bring your receipt and the ad back to the store within 30 days of purchase to get a refund.

There are some exclusions, including warehouse pricing from stores that charge a membership fee like Costco and BJ’s, prices that are a typographical error, among others.

Price matching is a great way to save time and money when holiday shopping.
