LeapFrog Enterprises Buys Kid-Safe Internet Browser, KidZui - Quick Facts

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (LF) reported acquiring KidZui, a kid-friendly internet browser. The KidZui technology, created in 2006, offers a kid-safe web experience and currently powers LeapSearch on all LeapFrog Wi-Fi enabled children's tablets, including the new LeapPad3 and LeapPad Ultra XDi.

Greg Ahearn, chief marketing officer at LeapFrog said: "Our acquisition of the KidZui browser and technology allows us to continue making LeapSearch the best tablet-based web experience made specifically with kids in mind, and to explore additional ways to make this experience available across all channels where kids consume online content."

LeapSearch is an innovative browsing tool that allows kids, including those who are not yet reading, to explore web content in an easy and safe way by categorizing content based on age and topic.
