Jordan Brown, 20, was remanded at a hearing on Friday on several charges including aggravated burglary.
It follows an incident where a 63-year-old Yangery man was allegedly bashed in his home by two assailants armed with a metal bar on February 12.
They allegedly gained entry to the house in Conns Lane about 4.30am, assaulted the victim and demanded cash.
The victim told his attackers he had cash in his car parked at the rear of the home.
He then ran out the front door to a neighbour’s home and raised the alarm.
The man suffered minor injuries in the attack.
