Marci Kaminsky, senior VP of corporate relations for The Allstate Corp. has moved to Grant Thornton LLP, as chief communications officer for the Chicago-based US headquarters of the London accounting giant.
Kaminsky heads reputation and strategic communications, external and media relations, internal and executive communications, and crisis and issues management in the new position.
She was a board-elected officer at Allstate and led a 100-staffer PR operation. Previous posts included Stryker (VP, comms. and PA), United Airlines (VP, corporate responsibility), USG Corp. (SVP, comms.), BMO Harris Bank N.A. (SVP, PA), NutraSweet (dir., PR), and Quaker Oats.
