PLYMOUTH >> Plymouth Township Day will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the East Plymouth Valley Park, at 900 Germantown Pike.

The celebration, now in its 24th year, will include remote-control slot-car racing, a mechanical shark, trackless train, swamper stomper, cars speedway bounce and slide and a Disney playhouse. A zipline for all ages will be new this year. In addition, the PennSTAR flight trauma helicopter will land at the park at 4:30 p.m. The Plymouth Township police will conduct a K-9 demonstration.

Game Alley will feature traditional carnival games like skeeball and plinko. Residents should enter one of the three contests, the hula hoop, biggest bubble and limbo contests.

The strolling entertainment includes two balloon artists, a face painter and a Briar Bush Nature Show. Visitors should remember to stop at the community booths and enter your name to win raffle prizes.

Admission to Plymouth Township Day is free and open to the public. Wristbands good for unlimited rides and amusements will be on sale for $12 until May 29 or $15 on the day of the event. Food is not included in the price of wristbands.

The community celebration is a joint venture between Brandywine Realty Trust and Toll Brother Apartment Living. Other sponsors include Chemalloy, Militia Hill Security, Thomas J.
