EBay Inc. (EBAY) Has Dropped To A New Low After Q3 Revenues Disappoint

eBay Inc. (EBAY) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.68 after the close Wednesday, up from $0.64 a year ago. Revenues rose 12% to $4.35 billion from $3.89 billion last year. The consensus estimates were for EPS of $0.67 and revenues of $4.37 billion.

eBay expects to report fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.88 to $0.91, with revenues of $ $4.85 billion to $4.95 billion. Analysts are expecting EPS of $0.91 on revenue of $5.16 billion. The company also lowered its full year 2014 revenue guidance to a range of $17.85 billion to $17.95 billion from its prior guidance of $18.00 billion to $18.30 billion. Analysts currently expect revenue of $18.15 billion.

eBay gapped open lower Thursday and is now down 2.60 at $47.64 in early trade. The stock has been falling for the past 2 weeks and has set a new low for the year.
