Arsonsists set caravan on fire in field near Shrewsbury

A caravan was deliberately set on fire in a village Shrewsbury.

A crew from Telford Central were called to Sandy Lane, Sheriffhales, just before 11pm yesterday following reports of an abandoned caravan on fire.

The vehicle had been left in a field next to a water tanker, which sustained minimal fire damage.

Breathing equipment was used at the scene but there were no casualties.
