If you are in the market for a new piece of tech this year, then it does look like you will have a few options. Android Wear is consistently growing with a large number of options becoming available. Android Auto is on its way to user’s cars, slowly, but surely. Virtual reality seems to be a big tech option for this year with more and more companies announcing their entrance to the market. Then, of course, there is glassables. The wearables for your face. Although, Google are largely considered to be the author of the technology with their Google Glass, the market looks to be opening up in the near future with offerings coming from the likes of Toshiba and Sony.

That said, Toshiba’s offering seems to lack the style factor that Glass has mastered a lot better. However, with Sony, things seem to be a bit different. Sony seems intent on bringing their option to market and seem to know exactly what market they are aiming towards with the business, enterprise and sector being a clear favorite in Sony’s mind.

Well, if you have been monitoring the movements of Sony’s SmartEyeGlass and were hoping to pick one up in the near future then it looks, you can from this point on. The Sony SmartEyeGlass Developer Edition SED-E1 has now officially gone on sale in as many as ten countries.
