Earlier this week, Damon Albarn announced his debut solo album Everyday Robots and released a video for the title track/lead single. Now a new track has surfaced from a fan at Albarn's recent solo set at Sundance. "Lonely Press Play" deviates from the electro-folk elements of "Everyday Robots" and instead begins as a barebones acoustic number that expands with piano and string section.

Everyday Robots is due out April 28 via Warner Bros. Records. The 12-track effort features guests apperances from Brian Eno and Bat For Lashes' Natasha Khan with Richard Russell (XL Recordings) as producer.

According to a Facebook post, the upcoming release is "his most soul-searching and autobiographical yet" and examines the theme of "nature versus technology." The album will be available as an HD digital album and as a deluxe CD/DVD package featuring live performance footage from Fox studios in Los Angeles and a "track by track video."
