This Week's NHL Coverage on NBCSN Kicks Off Tomorrow

This week's NHL coverage on NBCSN features a pair of recent Stanley Cup Final matchups, beginning tomorrow night at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN with a rematch of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, when Jonathan Quick and the Los Angeles Kings visit Rick Nash and the league-leading New York Rangers in the Kings' only visit to Madison Square Garden this season.

NBCSN presents a rematch of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday Night Rivalry at 8 p.m. ET, whenJonathan Toews and the Chicago Blackhawks visit Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers.

This week's coverage concludes on Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. ET with NBCSN's third interconference matchup of the week, when Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins host Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks.

NHL Live, NBCSN's pre- and post-game NHL studio show, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET tomorrow and Sunday night, and at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. KINGS-RANGERS - TOMORROW NIGHT AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBCSN presents a rematch of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final tomorrow night, as the league-leading New York Rangers host a Los Angeles Kings club fighting to earn a playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Rangers (46-18-7, 99 points) are tied with Montreal and Anaheim for the most points in the NHL, and have games in hand on both teams as they aim to clinch their first Presidents' Trophy since the 1993-94 season. Last night, New York notched a 7-2 victory against the Ducks on NBCSN, as Derek Stepan and Keith Yandle both posted three-point outings in the game.

Los Angeles (34-23-14, 82 pts) is in the midst of the battle for the final spots in the Western Conference playoff race. The Kings trail Calgary by two points for the third playoff spot in the Pacific Division, and are four points behind Winnipeg for the final Wild Card spot. Eight of the Kings' final 11 games are on the road, including a visit to New Jersey to face the Devils tonight.

Tomorrow night's matchup on NBCSN is the Kings' first visit to Madison Square Garden since Game 4 of last year's Stanley Cup Final, when the Rangers defeated the Kings by a score of 2-1 to stave off elimination. Earlier this season, the Rangers erased a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Kings 4-3 in Los Angeles on Jan. 8.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY - BLACKHAWKS-FLYERS - WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Chicago visits Philadelphia on NBCSN's Wednesday Night Rivalry in a rematch of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, as the Blackhawks look to continue their strong play down the stretch. Chicago (43-22-6, 92 pts) has posted a 12-4-4 record since Feb. 6, and sits in third place in the Central Division, four points behind NASHVILLE (96) and five behind St. Louis (97) with two games in hand on both teams. Chicago visits Carolina tonight for a tilt with the Hurricanes, prior to Wednesday night's matchup in Philadelphia.

The Flyers (29-29-16, 74 pts) return home after a four-game Canadian road trip and face the Blackhawks for the first time since Oct. 21, when Philadelphia suffered a 4-0 shutout loss in Chicago. Wednesday's game is just the sixth meeting between the Blackhawks and Flyers since Chicago's victory over Philadelphia in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final. The home team has won four of five meetings, and Chicago hasn't won in Philadelphia since their Game 6 Stanley Cup Final clincher.

SHARKS-PENGUINS - SUNDAY NIGHT AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Penguins host the Sharks on Sunday night on NBCSN, as Pittsburgh continues its march towards a ninth-straight postseason berth. The Penguins (40-22-10, 90 pts) are currently in third place in the Metropolitan Division, two points behind the New York Islanders. Pittsburgh earned a 3-1 win in Arizona on Saturday night, led by a goal and an assist from Sidney Crosby, who currently leads the league with 74 points.

The Sharks (35-29-8, 78 pts) are in the midst of a seven-game road trip and will need a late-season push to reach the playoffs. Two weeks ago, the Sharks beat the Penguins by a score of 2-1 in a shootout in San Jose.

Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will have the call from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Sunday night's game will be locally blacked out in Pittsburgh.
