An annual event is coming up soon to help Washington County residents get rid of appliances and other hard to discard items. Brian Worfolk of Phillips 66 Research said that people will be able to bring a number of items to the Phillips 66 parking lot on Adams Boulevard during Operation Clean House.

Automotive type items, including used motor oil, antifreeze, batteries and a limit of eight car or truck tires can be taken to the Washington County District 2 Barn, located on West 1500 Road in Dewey. Drop-off hours are from 8 A.M. until 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 25th.
