At their press conference this past week, Spotify revealed that while music will always be its bread and butter, it’s time to move into new territory, starting with podcasts and video. The Swedish streaming service is going to be coming at this from all angles by working with some of the biggest content producers in the business and commissioning and creating their own original series. This was only one part of the company's massive announcement, which also included details about their new commitment to helping listeners run better and faster.
Well known brands like Vogue, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Nerdist, and Elite Daily have all signed on with the streaming service to allow their already-available content to be published on a new section of Spotify.
