Far East in focus at next month’s Logistics Workshop

HIGH POINT — The U.S. furniture industry’s lifeline to the Far East will take the spotlight in a presentation from Li & Fung’s David Bennett at next month’s Logistics Workshop sponsored by Furniture/Today and the American Home Furnishings Alliance.

The workshop, themed “Building Tomorrow’s Supply Chain Today,” is set for June 2-3 at Hilton University Place in Charlotte, N.C.

Bennett is general manager of business development at LF Logistics, a Li & Fung affiliate company. In his address, “International State of Affairs: Logistics in a Shrinking World,” he will unravel the critical issues that will separate the winners from the losers in the coming years when it comes to Far East sourcing.
