Allianz Life Marketing Earns More than 30 Industry Creative Awards

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) today announced its in-house Brand and Marketing Services Department won more than 30 awards for creativity by various industry associations in 2014. These awards include the In-House Agency Forum, the Telly Awards, the Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (IFCA) Awards Competition and the Graphic Design USA American Inhouse Design Awards. Excellence in online video, creative writing, outstanding art direction, and overall marketing quality were recognized.

The Allianz Life Marketing and Brand Services Department earned 32 awards in 2014, the highest award count for the department so far. Awards represent marketing projects in sales, advanced markets and corporate communications for Allianz Life and Questar CapitalSM, a division of Allianz Life. Awards include:

The In-House Agency Forum (IHAF) – The IHAF awards recognize creative excellence among in-house agencies across print and digital categories including advertising, corporate identity, direct mail and email websites. There are three awards given for each category with one overall Best-of-Show winner. For the first time, Allianz Life won two gold awards for work on the 2014 Questar Capital calendar and the Questar Elite Producer conference materials.

The 2014 Telly Awards – The Telly Awards showcase the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations and corporate video departments. The 2014 Annual Telly Awards received more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Allianz Life was recognized with an Online Video Bronze Telly, for the fixed index universal life educational video, Life’s a Journey.

The 2014 IFCA Awards Competition – The premier creative awards competition for the financial services industry. Association members throughout the United States and Canada evaluated thousands of entries based on five criteria: concept, writing, art direction, overall execution and effectiveness. Allianz Life was recognized with a variety of awards including:

  • Two Best-of-Show – For the Questar Elite Producer conference materials and the “Life summertime lull” new business kit, as well as
  • Six Awards of Excellence – For projects including calendars, product and recruitment kits, and direct mailers.

The 2014 Graphic Design USA American Inhouse Design Awards – These awards showcase outstanding work done by in-house designers and recognize creativity, the special challenges they face, and the contributions they make. The competition honored Allianz Life with seven awards including:

  • Women’s Network SymposiumSM graphics,
  • Employee calendars featuring employee photography,
  • A-list producer loyalty program launch kit and
  • Product marketing campaigns

The Allianz Life Brand and Marketing Services Department is responsible for the brand, advertising, media and creative approach for all marketing materials. The department consists of project leaders, art directors, copywriters, print producers and a variety of specialists in the creative field. Providing the best results for the customer, the team creates the marketing materials that support financial professionals in the sales process. They also create regional advertising collateral and communications pieces for the Meetings & Events and Internal Communications groups as well as internal graphics and messaging that reinforces the brand.
