The new Meizu M2 Note device is the successor to the Meizu M1 Note, which was released just earlier this year in January, and comes with the "brand new mBack button" feature, according to Meizu.

Like the Meizu M1 Note, the new device comes with high-end specs but with a reasonable price in comparison with its predecessor. The Meizu M2 Note sports a 5.5 inch IGZO laminated display screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, an 8.7 mm thick body and weighs about 149 grams, according to Meizu.

The colors available for the new Meizu M2 Note are white, metallic grey, blue and pink. Internally, the new device packs the latest 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 CPU and runs on the new Flyme 4.5 operating system, which is based on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, according to Meizu.

It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB internal memory space, powered by a large non-removable 3100 mAh battery. Users can also expand the internal memory up to 128 GB via microSD card.

The Meizu M2 Note comes with a 13 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel camera on the front. The primary camera can take high-quality images and comes with the zero-delay shooting feature. The new Meizu M2 Note could take on another recently released device by another Chinese company, the K3 Note by Lenovo Group Ltd.

A new smartphone by Meizu with high-end specs as well is the new Meizu MX5. The new Meizu MX5 is the successor to last year's Meizu MX4, and is expected to be announced this coming June 30 in China.
