Deals Rumor Mill: Digital Realty Trust, Goldman, Nemak

By Linda Chiem (June 10, 2015, 6:08 PM EDT) -- Digital Realty Trust Inc., a real estate investment trust that specializes in leasing out data centers, is working on a bid to acquire New York-based, private equity-owned data center company Telx Group Inc. for more than $2 billion, Reuters reported Wednesday. California-based Digital Realty, which already has a portfolio of 130 properties in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, is reportedly looking to diversify its business with a potential Telx buy that would mark yet further consolidation within a data center sector that continues to grow with businesses' demand for secure facilities to house servers, store data and network equipment, according to the report. San Francisco-based Digital Realty is one of several U.S. and international bidders for Telx, which is owned by ABRY Partners LLC and Berkshire Partners LLC, Reuters reported....
