Ladder 103 Goes in Service With Boyton Beach, Fla., Fire Dept.

Boynton Beach Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a Sutphen SL75. The new aerial, designated as Ladder 103, has been added to the other Sutphen units in the fleet spread out in five stations.

Boynton Beach Fire Rescue has taken delivery of a Sutphen SL75. The new aerial, designated as Ladder 103, has been added to the other Sutphen units in the fleet spread out in five stations.

The new aerial is equipped with a Cummins ISX 12 500 hp engine and an Allison EVS4000 transmission. It has a 500-gallon water tank, a 30-gallon foam cell and a Hale 1,500 gpm pump.

It has a stainless steel body, R.O.M. roll-up doors, 217 cubic feet of storage space and Alco-Lite ground ladders.

Other equipment includes a Hannay electric cord reel, a Harrison generator and LED lights.
