HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – An Arizona-based grocery store chain is expanding its presence in Alabama.

Sprouts Farmers Market opened a location in Huntsville Wednesday morning.

The store is at 7504 Highway 72 West, in the same shopping center as the new Hobby Lobby.

According to company officials, Sprouts Farmers Market offers “fresh, natural and organic foods at great prices.”

Giveaways and discounts brought out a crowd for the grand opening.

The specials continue on Saturday, March 21 when the first 200 customers to make a purchase receive a coupon booklet for five free sandwiches.

On Sunday, March 22, every 15th customer to checkout will receive a $5 coupon for use the following week.

This is the second of three planned stores in Alabama this year.

One has already opened on Hwy 280 in Birmingham. The third is scheduled to open in Hoover next month.
