200 block of Crestmoor Circle, 1:48 p.m. Tuesday A resident struggled with a man who broke into her vehicle and took her camera. She told police she had just arrived home and that the man was a passenger in a vehicle that had followed her from San Francisco where she visited a landmark and took photos.

Linda Mar Beach, 6 p.m. Tuesday Responding to a report of a woman attacking a male with a knife, deputies located and arrested the 33-year-old San Francisco resident. According to the victim, the woman began swinging a large hunting knife at him when he and her male companion got into a fight. That male is being sought.

CAMPBELL

1800 block of South Bascom Avenue, 10:12 a.m. Tuesday Police caught up with a 31-year-old man who stole an unattended laptop, learned he also had an outstanding warrant and arrested him.

Los Gatos Creek Trail near Campisi Way, 1:22 p.m. Tuesday Two people, ages 20 and 17, were cited for trespassing in the creek. The teen, a reported runaway, was returned to the Children’s Shelter.

500 block of East Hamilton Avenue, 2:10 p.m. Tuesday A 24-year-old woman arrested for shoplifting provided a false name to conceal her outstanding warrants and was in possession of an ID that belonged to someone else.

South Winchester Boulevard and Hamilton Avenue, 5:03 p.m. Tuesday A panhandler staggering in the roadway was arrested for public intoxication and an outstanding warrant.

Belle Monti Avenue, 9:05 a.m. Tuesday Items were stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle.

Terrace Drive, 1:51 p.m. Tuesday Three young teens digging in a lot with picks and shovels were reported to be possibly disrupting the integrity of the roadway.

El Verano Way, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday A female who walked into a person’s kitchen said when confronted that she was in the wrong house and walked out.

Rittenhouse Avenue, 7:57 a.m. Tuesday After noting an increase in her bill, a resident asked police if someone might be stealing her water.

Two S. Claremont St., 9:24 a.m. Monday Someone entered gates leading to the rear of San Mateo Buddhist Temple and yanked the bulletin board from a wall.

1700 W. Hillsdale Blvd., 9:35 p.m. Monday Tires on a vehicle in Lot 9 near the softball field at College of San Mateo were slashed.

East Hillsdale Boulevard and South Norfolk Street, 10:15 p.m. Monday Police received a power-washing complaint at Marina Plaza Shopping Center from a person more concerned about the noise.

1101 Park Place, 10:39 p.m. Monday A vehicle in Building 3 at Park Place at San Mateo Apartments was stolen.

48000 block of Milmont Drive, 6:30 a.m. Tuesday A business was burglarized after 5 p.m. the day before. Copper wire and power tools were taken.

33000 block of Shylock Drive, 4:13 p.m. Tuesday A window at a residence was forced open, which activated an audible alarm that was the likely cause of an aborted burglary.

4500 block of Mowry Avenue, 7:50 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday Jewelry and credits cards were stolen from a residence. Entry was made through a sliding glass door that was pried open.

Rollins Road and Corbitt Drive, 3:53 a.m. Tuesday A person seen trying car door handles had moved on when police arrived.

Adeline Drive, 7:47 a.m. Tuesday Car wash coupons were stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle.

Highway Road, 11:13 a.m. Tuesday Someone who tried to break into a residence left pry marks behind.

Arguello Drive, 1:28 p.m. Tuesday A male who saw suspicious people in the area waited a week to notify police.

El Camino Real, 7:20 p.m. Tuesday A vehicle parked outside a residence was stolen.

Broadway and El Camino Real, 11:28 p.m. Tuesday Juveniles were reported to be throwing tomatoes from a vehicle.

Lorton Avenue, 11:40 p.m. Tuesday Another report involving juveniles, tossed tomatoes and a moving vehicle was received.

500 block of High Street, 2:15 p.m. Monday A 63-year-old man who is accused of exposing himself in the roadway and again minutes later at University Avenue and Emerson Street, blocking traffic each time, was arrested on lewd conduct charges.

Various locations, 7-9:30 p.m. June 23 Ten auto burglaries were reported, including two at 350 Sherman Ave. and two more at Chipotle Mexican Grill, 2675 El Camino Real, another three at Bank of the West, 414 California Ave., and the rest on the 2600 block of Birch Street, the 500 block of Webster Street and the 400 block of High Street.

2300 block of Catalina Street, 6:32 p.m. Tuesday A stolen vehicle report was taken.

FOSTER CITY

Beach Park Boulevard, 12:58 p.m. Tuesday A person flagged down an officer to report an indecent exposure incident.

Baffin Street, 2:57 p.m. Tuesday A residence was burglarized. Computers were taken.

Port Royal Avenue, 7:02 p.m. Tuesday Tools were stolen by someone who broke into a garage.

REDWOOD CITY

Second Avenue, 2:51 a.m. Saturday A person’s residential burglary attempt was botched when residents woke up.

El Camino Real, 8:12 p.m. Saturday A well-dressed man in his 40s was reported to be “down.” Police responded and an arrest was made.

Maddux Drive, 10:55 p.m. Saturday A resident told police a woman had tried to open her door and that when she answered, the woman waved and left.

Neptune Drive, 12:22 a.m. Sunday A gray 2003 Dodge 2500 with a spare key in the console was reported stolen.

Seaport Drive, 6:28 p.m. Sunday Tools and equipment were stolen from a business by someone who had the combination to the lock on the gate.

Danford Court, 11:33 p.m. Sunday Mail was reported stolen from mailboxes.

Various locations, Monday Stolen vehicle reports included a 2002 Mustang on Roosevelt Avenue, a black 1995 Acura Integra on G Street, a black Honda Civic on Vera Avenue and two others on Winslow Street and Chelsea Way.

Hazel Avenue, 3:32 p.m. Monday A woman returning home in a vehicle with her sister told police about a suspicious driver, a man who followed them, honked, waved and tried to get their attention.

Roosevelt Avenue, 5:36 p.m. Monday A male with bloodshot eyes who remembered being robbed, hit on the head and beat up, was unable to remember exactly when.

Hamilton Street, 9:17 p.m. Monday A male was punched and robbed by five or six teens who took his cellphone.

Maryland Street, 10:20 p.m. Monday Police were unable to locate a homeless woman in her late 30s said to be seeking money and blankets.
